Infotech
Enterprises
is
supporting
the
Sikorsky
S-76D
Air
Vehicle
design.
Infotech’s
team has
undergone
immersion
in the
airframe
and
electrical
design
processes
with
Sikorsky
Aircraft
and has
completed
the
first
modeling
work
package.
The
addition
of
Infotech
design
center
provides
the
Sikorsky
engineering
team
with
increased
flexibility
in
completing
the
detail
design
phase of
the
program.
The
S-76D
International
Team
collaboration
and
communications
are
coordinated
regularly
by the
use of
Teleconferencing
and face
to face
during
regularly
scheduled
Program
Reviews.
The
standard
work
involves
supplier
participation
in key
design
reviews,
both
commercial
and
technical
liaison
by the
team
leads
working
closely
with
supply
management,
a system
engineering
approach
to
requirements
and
interfaces
including
Avionic
and Air
Vehicle
systems
and
scheduled
program
reviews.
The
International
design,
development
and test
program
will
span six
years to
get to
certification
and will
lead
into a
long
term
mutually
beneficial
relationship
between
the
international
partners.
