P N Thirunarayana, an independent Director of Infotech, has years of experience as a Retainer Consultant with major organizations in the areas of Strategic Marketing, Business Marketing, Managing Major Account, Marketing of Services, Sales Management and Business Negotiations. He is presently the Member, Steering Committee and Module Director for BAE SYSTEMS (UK) Strategic Leaders Programme. He had earlier worked in companies like, Grindwell Norton, MICO, and Greaves Foseco.

He is currently a Professor of Marketing & Wipro Chair Professor of Management at IIM Bangalore. Besides for this, his other engagements include being a European Community Visiting Professor at GROUPE ESSEC, Paris; UNDP Fellow; Member, Governing Council and Member of Board of Studies of a number of Management Schools; Program Director (India) of the International Masters Program in Practicing Management (IMPM), a collaborative project of Hitotsubashi (Japan), Lancaster (UK), McGill (Canada), IIMB (India) and INSEAD (France).
