Network Inventory Services
Infotech is a world leader in the creation of accurate network inventory models, encompassing both the logical and physical worlds. Our network build and migration services ensure that the inventory data is transformed into an intelligent and concurrent view of the network, ready to meet the increasing demands of network planning and service provisioning communities.

The Next Generation Networks (NGN) need sophisticated system to support their operation. These systems, in turn, require a complete and concurrent view of the network data. The operational efficiencies promised by such networks can be realised only with the right systems and data. While most of the organisations have deployed some type of Geographical Information System to manage such information, there’s imminent need for greatly improved information regarding network to meet the demands of NGN.

The real Return on Investment (ROI) is delivered only if the system and data are operating at full capability and integrated into the Infrastructure Lifecycle and Service Fulfilment operations. This goal of an integrated Infrastructure Management System is the key to gaining that competitive edge while improving operational efficiency.

Infotech has pioneered the creation of network data models from a variety of data sources. These include the data extracted from Operational Support Systems (OSS), Computer Aided Design/Drafting (CAD) systems, existing GIS systems, and in some cases print and graphical formats. All such data need to be efficiently mapped to the target system so it becomes business-critical information.
Platform for Network Capture
To support the creation of accurate network information, Infotech has developed a capture platform, TEEM™, which supports the whole process of data conversion, from inventory of data, work flow management, data capture, business rule definition, and automated quality control. Using TEEM™, Infotech is able to quickly create an accurate representation of an organisation network, with the highest quality standards. TEEM™ supports the import of data from a number of sources and supports all the major Telco GIS platforms.
TEEM™ also supports our clients with Management Information Systems (MIS) Dashboards, providing comprehensive details on the data conversion or migration process. It also enables them to monitor our performance, productivity, and quality. Additional tools include the TEEM™ Problem and Resolution (PAR) system, which enables queries and issues identified during the conversion/ migration process to be quickly and efficiently managed. Being web-based, the PAR system supports instant communication between the client and Infotech.
People
The creation of such network information is not just about technology. Domain expertise and experience are key elements and here at Infotech our Telco data engineers have both, having worked with various technology platforms to offer over 2 million hours of data management services to leading clients worldwide.
Processes
Our capture & conversion and migration capabilities are backed up with strong processes which ensure that projects are managed in a professional and transparent manner.
Our Clients
Infotech has worked with some of the most successful telecommunications companies to build sophisticated data sets to support the network operations which drive the business efficiency and effect improved customer services.
